Megan Evans

 

Megan Evans is a practicing artist currently in her final year studying Fine Art (BA Hons).

 

Megan works with multiple disciplines, mainly painting and coloured pencil drawings. Working with ideas surrounding the power of animals  and how society now view animals, mixed with concepts of fantasy worlds, Megan seeks to explore how the use of both detailed images and drawings of animals, crossed with fantasy worlds and concepts come together to create a visual representation of how we already view domestic and wild animals. Playing off the fads people have with different animals and that we now see in society, on social media, and on commercial branding, Megan chooses to create her work in a way that raises them to a God and mystical like status.

 

The extreme detail within each animal drawing crossed with the looser paintings surrounding them come together to create a fresh image bringing the solid reality and fantasy together.

 

Aside from her own practice, Megan is also avaliable for commissions, including portraits, tattoo designs & large scale mural works.
